Rob Walter
Rob (He/Him) is the current LEAGUE at AT&T CEO and is a past COO and former LEAGUE-GA Vice President and President of LEAGUE-GA for three years. His biggest accomplishment during that time was creating the first Job Shadow Day in partnership with Chris 180 specifically for self-identifying LGBTQ youth at AT&T.
Rob grew up in Colorado, but now lives in the North Georgia Mountains outside of Atlanta with his partner of 20 years, Bill. When they’re not tending to the needs of their beloved French Bulldogs or their chickens, they enjoy white water rafting, kayaking, cooking, and spending time with friends.
Mark A. Barfield
Mark (He/Him) is a thirty-year AT&T employee who has worked in Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance. He currently drives ACH strategy and vendor management in the Global Customer Payments Organization.
Mark returned to the Board as CFO, and previously served as CEO, COO, PR Officer, Communications and Strategy Director and held previous leadership roles at the chapter level.
A passionate advocate for inclusion, empowerment and education Mark also serves on the LEAGUE Foundation Board supporting college scholarships for graduating LGBTQ+ high school students. In his free time, you can find him and his partner traveling and volunteering.
Richard Totten
Richard (He/Him) started his career with AT&T in 2010 serving in various roles including Retail Sales Consultant, Assistant Store Manager, Retail Store Manager, Sales Support Lead in IHX, Sales Execution Lead, Area Retail Sales Manager, and most recently as the Associate Director of Sales Program execution for the Mid-Atlantic Markets. Richard started his AT&T career in West Virginia where he was Vice President and founder of the WV LEAGUE Chapter and moved to the Washington, DC area in 2018.
Before AT&T, Richard was a Community Manger with the American Cancer Society and has always had a passion for volunteering and making a difference in his community. You can still find Richard at his local Relay For Life event walking all night to help raise funds and do his part to help eliminate cancer.
In Richard’s time off, he enjoys spending time with his partner Luis, taking cruises, baking, and traveling the world whenever possible. A fun fact about Richard is that he is a Certified Cake Decorating Instructor!
Melanie Watson
Melanie (She/Her) works in the AT&T Marketing Growth Organization and is a marketing leader with expertise in strategic communications, partnership development, cross-functional leadership, and program management.
A volunteer with LEAGUE since 2019, Melanie currently serves as Western Region President, supporting and empowering chapters across the western United States in their efforts to engage LGBTQ+ employees, allies, and local communities. Previously, she led the successful relaunch of LEAGUE's Los Angeles Chapter after a four-year hiatus, growing the leadership team and helping deliver more than a dozen community-building and volunteer events. Melanie also leads LEAGUE's Website Committee, overseeing the relaunch of both the LEAGUE and LEAGUE Foundation websites and supporting the Scholarship Program.
Melanie is passionate about fostering inclusive communities, and creating opportunities for people to connect, engage, and make a positive impact. Outside of work and LEAGUE, she enjoys traveling with her husband, photography, and making homemade jam.
Jennifer Scott
Jennifer (She/Her/Hers) has been with AT&T since 2000 and is currently a Financial Systems Analyst with the Billing Integrity and Contract Implementation department in the FBO org.
Jennifer has been a member of League since 2002 and currently serves as the Communications Director.
Jennifer currently lives in Jacksonville, FL with her wife of 10 years. In her spare she enjoys spending time with her 4 daughters, 7 grandchildren , and 3 furbabies.
Adam Czarnik
Adam (He/Him) joined AT&T in 2020 as a summer intern and began working full-time in 2022 as a member of the Technology Development Program (TDP). He currently works in advanced analytics within the Mass Markets National portfolio, helping drive insights and strategy across wireless, broadband, and converged products.
Having served in several LEAGUE leadership and volunteer roles over the years, Adam is excited to serve as Development Director. During his term, he hopes to increase engagement across chapters nationwide, ensure members feel connected regardless of location, and help strengthen chapter initiatives throughout both the East and West regions.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys traveling, going to the movies, and playing ultimate frisbee with friends every weekend.
Timothy Ross
Timothy Ross (Him/His) began his career with AT&T in June 2008 and has had the opportunity to grow through several roles, including customer care, Quality Assurance, Access Card Distribution, Assistance Queue, Area Manager, New Hire Manager, Hiring Manager and Lead Learning & Development Strategist.
Over the past 18 years, Timothy has enjoyed building their career, developing strong teams, and helping others reach goals they may not have thought possible. He currently serves as a Principal Performance Architect for the Learning & Development Consumer organization, where they focus on improving performance, supporting learning strategies, and helping teams achieve meaningful results.
Timothy also serves as Election Chair for LEAGUE, where they support organizational processes, member engagement, and leadership continuity. Previously, he contributed to chapter activities in both Tulsa and Dallas, including events, fundraising efforts, and community-focused initiatives such as local site events and member gatherings.
Timothy is originally from Colorado Springs and lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 20 years where he completed his bachelor's at Oklahoma State University in organizational leadership. While in Tulsa, he enjoyed being a foster parent and also has two dogs named Cooper & Craig. He relocated to Dallas in 2024 and loves being a part of the community.
Michael McManus
Mike McManus (He/Him) joined AT&T as a System Administrator during the Cingular/BellSouth merger in 2007. He is currently in a Principal Information Security role with EASE, maintaining the SACT ecosystem of security tools and responding to audits including Sarbanes-Oxley Act and PCI DSS. Mike now serves as Technology Committee Chair.
In 2013, Mike was elected president of the Pacific Northwest chapter (then known as the Washington chapter) of LEAGUE at AT&T. In that role, Mike was instrumental in establishing a relationship with Lambert House (a home for at-risk LGBTQ+ youth) and piloting “I Thought You’d Never Ask,” a fun speed-dating concept for having difficult conversations, with members of other PNW employee groups. Except for a two-year hiatus while working with IBM, Mike has been involved in LEAGUE leadership ever since, taking on the Chapter Congress Director role in 2022.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys singing bass with Seattle Men’s Chorus and traveling with his husband Gary.
Stacey Chosed
Hector Capote
Hector (He/Him) started 2001 in Bellsouth then wireless and 8 different job titles but now work as a Credit Representative in Business Care & Sales landline in MN call center. And a union member since 2001 and union steward since 2007. Has had various positions in union leadership from local V.P. for wireless CWA Local 3122 In Miami to Member of the CWA National Human Rights & Equity Committee.
He held leadership positions in the South Florida AFL-CIO and Job with Justice. Vast experience lobbing in Tallahassee and D.C. A member of Pride at Work (Afl-Cio) and supporter of the National Center for Transgender Equality. A proud member now of CWA Local 7250 MN. He also was in the bargaining committee for the Orange Wireless contract in 2017.
Hector like to spend time traveling with his transgender wife of 10 yrs. And calls Miami home where he lived most of his life and family lives. And will travel often to his homeland of Cuba to see his friends and family. He is a music collector and historian with over 3.5 terabytes of music from 146 countries.
Ramses Valero
Joey Mason
Joey (He/Him) is a Sr Specialist Project Manager in the Transformation and Enablement organization. After 11.5 years with the company across frontline, analytics, and project roles, he is the person who helps organize chaotic tasks into actionable work paths and the go-to for when efficiency is a necessity.
Joey is the National Gender Identity & Expression Chair. He provides national leadership and advocacy on matters related to gender identity and expression, driving education, inclusion, and engagement initiatives that support LGBTQ+ employees and allies across the organization.
Joey recently relocated from KY to TX with his spouse and their 5 dogs. He enjoys genealogy research and uncovering the stories behind my family's and friends’ family’s history. He is driven by curiosity and enjoy learning, whether that's exploring the past through family records or discovering new technologies, analytics tools, and innovative ways to solve problems.
