International Drag Day is celebrated on July 16th and was originally created to recognize and appreciate the drag queens, drag kings, and all members of the LGBTQ+ community that have made a significant contribution to the drag community.  It is a day to celebrate and honor the art of drag and drag culture, and most importantly, have fun!

At a time when drag culture is under attack in many places, there’s never been a better time to show your support and refresh your drag culture references. Get up to date on some of the most iconic drag queens through history here.  Meet the first ever Drag Laureate recently appointed in San Francisco here, and catch up with some of the most iconic drag performances ever committed to film here.
