Agender Pride Day has been celebrated since 2014 and is a great opportunity to understand the community of folks who identify as Agender, which falls under the broader umbrella of non-binary identities. The term Non-binary encompasses a wide range of gender identities that fall outside the rigid categories of male and female. Individuals who identify as non-binary may experience their gender as a mix of male and female, as neither, or as a unique identity entirely.

The difference between agender and non binary can be understood that Agender is a specific type of non-binary identity. While all agender individuals are non-binary, not all non-binary people identify as agender.

Gender expression is deeply personal. While the term 'agender' resonates with many, others might use different language to describe their experiences. Some may prefer terms like 'gender neutral,' 'gender fluid,' or create their own unique labels.

Here’s how the Agender flag represents the community:
     •    Black and white stripes: Represent the absence of gender
     •    Gray stripe: Represents semi-genderlessness, which is between identifying as a gender and being agender
     •    Green stripe: Represents non-binary genders
