Nominations Open for 2003 LEAGUE National Awards
Attention ALL LEAGUE members,
It's time, again, to take a few minutes to nominate that special person or organization that has worked hard all year long (during 2003) for the LEAGUE National Award Category that best describes their contributions. All nominations are due by February 21, 2003.
Please read the instructions on this page before going to our printable, snail-mailable nomination form. (To email your nomination, download the Word file!-- to your PC. After you complete the nomination form in the file, email the file to Bev Spear. Her address is in the Word file.)
Eligibility
Please use the following guidelines when making your nominations.The person, group or organization you are nominating must have exhibited the support or behavior in the 2002 calendar year; and the support or behavior must pertain to the category you have selected for the nomination. Self-nominations are not permitted.
Awards Categories
- Most Supportive AT&T Organization
- Nominees for this category can be entire Business Units, AT&T Regions, Directorates, Divisions, etc. Nominations must include the ways this Organization has directly supported LEAGUE either locally or nationally. Please include the names of those who could or should receive the recognition on behalf of the organization and provide all the contact information to reach these individuals.
- Most Supportive AT&T Officer (E-level or vice-president or higher)
- Nominees for this category are individual officers of the company that have demonstrated their commitment and continued support of LEAGUE and its goals and objectives.
- Outstanding LEAGUE Leadership Awards
- Local Leadership: Two local awards will be given, one male and one female. Nominees should be those who, in the last year, have made significant contributions and demonstrated excellence in Leadership at a Local Chapter Level of LEAGUE. Nominations can include LEAGUE members who are not officers at a Local Level but have demonstated excellence in Leadership.
- National Leadership: Two national awards will be given, one male and one female. Nominees should be those who, in the last year, have made significant contributions and demonstrated excellence in Leadership at the National Level of LEAGUE. Nominations can include LEAGUE members who are not officers at a National Level but have demonstrated excellence in Leadership.
- Paul Ludeman Community Involvement Awards
- Individual: Two awards will be given to individuals based on nominations. Nominees should be LEAGUE members who have contributed significantly to their local community or nationally with their time and talents.
- Chapter: One award will be given to a chapter based on nominations. Nominees should be LEAGUE Chapters that have contributed significantly, as a team, to their local communities.
- AT&T Organization: Nominees should be AT&T Organizations that have contributed to their communities through organizing involvement, financial contributions, in-kind donations, etc. Nominations should include the individual who should receive the award on behalf of the Organization and that person's contact information.
- Most Outstanding Contributions from a non-LEAGUE Member
- Nominees for this category are individuals that have demonstrated their commitment and continued support of LEAGUE and its goals and objectives.
- LEAGUE Lifetime Achievement
- Nominees for this award should be those members of LEAGUE whose consistent dedication and long-term commitment to the success of the organization can be demonstrated through on-going service on a local or national level or both. The nominee should also have personally facilitated the continued growth and organizational excellence of LEAGUE.
