New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus Established as the Delaware Valley Men's Chorus in 1991, the ensemble draws members from communities in central and north Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The chorus was renamed in July 1996.

Formed in 1978, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus – the "grandaddy" of all gay choruses – made its debut on the steps of San Francisco's City Hall on the night Harvey Milk and George Moscone were murdered, Its historic national tour in 1981 "seeded" gay choruses all over America. Their 20th Anniversary season in 1998 included a landmark appearance at the Sydney, Australia Lesbian and Gay Mardi Gras Festival). SFGMC remains a vibrant community institution in the Bay Area and a leader among GALA Choruses nationally.

Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, D.C. – "The mission of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, D.C. (GMCW) is to develop a musical legacy, to affirm the role of the Gay community in the life of the nation and humanity, to educate others about the gay experience, and to inspire through music."
