Assembly,
Carolyn Cook, the poor beLEAGUErd person who manages our accomplishments database just shared the following with me. And I thought -- especially in this special season -- it would touch your hearts as well.

Twelve out of LEAGUE's 28 chapters and their members have raised over $3.4 Million dollars to help the communities in which we live and work in the last six months.
By participating in more than 24 AT&T Cares projects as well as independent projects sponsored by our LEAGUE chapters and the many organizations they support, these chapters have contributed 3400 volunteer hours with 765 participants, both from our own membership and the many supportive friends who have joined with us.
Thanks to the following chapters for their devotion to their communities and for finding a few moments to share their results with us: Northern California, Pleasanton, Metro DC, Central Florida, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Kansas City, North Jersey, Worthington, Dallas, Salt Lake City and At-Large.
A more detailed list will be shared soon, but here are some of the community organizations supported between May and November 1997. If you would like to let folks know what your chapters and members have been doing, you can reach the LEAGUE accomplishments input form via the link under "Hot Spot" on our Internet home page or, if you have intranet access via our intranet home page. If you don't have Intranet access, contact Richard Marsh or your local chapter officers.
