During Atlanta's Pride Festival held in Piedmont Park the last weekend of June, LEAGUE Atlanta used two placards in its booth to provide information about the LEAGUE Foundation Scholarship program and solicit donations to the LEAGUE Foundation's Scholarship Fund.

- What is the LEAGUE Foundation?
The only national non-profit LBGT Scholarship Program that grants academic scholarships to our youth going to college.- Why is the Foundation necessary?
This scholarship fund was established to support youth of our community as they pursue their college education to build an environment free from bigotry and hate.- How is the scholarship awarded?
Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Must be involved in community activities.
Must be accepted to an accredited higher education institution.

($5.00 minimum requested to receive card)
