1998 Pride Event
AIDS Walk San Francisco

The San Francisco AIDS Walk, held on Sunday, July 19 in Golden Gate Park, had more than 27,000 walkers who raised more than $3.6 million dollars – both are records. SFAW benefits over 30 Bay Area AIDS Service Organizations.

AT&T was an Event Sponsor this year, and it was an AT&T Cares project as well. LEAGUE Northern California was the "producer" of the event, with support from LEAGUE Pleasanton. I was the team captain.

Balloons, trees, blue sky, AIDS Walk San Francisco banner. Are the walkers ready?

SFAW team. The AT&T San Francisco AIDS Walk team. Was this before or after their walk?

A few walkers pose in front of the AT&T banner. They're still smiling. That's Michael A. wearing the crown.

The AT&T table fronts an AT&T banner at the SF AIDS Walk. You thought all they did was walk? Who's that in a LEAGUE shirt? Michael sports his AT&T CARES shirt.
Hey, you two. Hand out those brochures. Peddle AT&T services.
