Posted July 26, 2003New England BRG Leaders are 2003 Winners
This year, members of two AT&T BRGs (Business Resource Groups) -- LEAGUE New England and the Fairhaven (Massachusetts) Chapter of Women of AT&T -- have done themselves and their organizations proud! Joanna Perry, President of the Fairhaven Chapter of Women of AT&T, received the Women of AT&T 2003 Local Leadership Award. Not to be outdone, Bev Spear and Bob Young, Co-Presidents of LEAGUE New England, each received LEAGUE's 2003 Local Leadership Award, and the chapter won LEAGUE's 2003 Community Involvement Award.
According to Bev Spear, LEAGUE New England Co-President, the Fairhaven Chapter of Women of AT&T and LEAGUE New England have an impressive working relationship in Fairhaven and partner on many activities. They are well respected by the Senior Leadership Team and employees. (Fairhaven) Center Director Joan Gallagher always introduces the BRG Leaders to our visiting AT&T dignitaries who are overwhelmed with the BRGs' professionalism and accomplishments. Through Joan's leadership and unwavering support the BRGs continue to succeed.
